My Personal Journey and Therapeutic Approach
My name is Efrat, and I am a mind-body psychotherapist. I believe in the power to heal and empower people who face trauma or other life challenges. This belief gives me strength and hope during these difficult times.
I view therapy as a process that enables individuals to connect deeply with themselves, understand their sensations and emotions, and release inner barriers. Through mindfulness practice and a connection to the body, clients learn to observe their sensations and thoughts, identifying patterns that may be holding them back. The therapeutic process integrates self-acceptance, inner understanding, and bodily awareness, providing clients with practical tools to cope with life’s challenges. Through this approach, I aim to help people improve their quality of life.
Every person has a rich, complex life story. Understanding the dynamics that have shaped who they are today requires a deep look at the various paths they have taken and how these influence their present behaviors. It’s essential to honor the mechanisms and behavioral patterns that each of us has developed as a way to protect ourselves.
I believe that relationships are powerful and formative forces in our lives, including the therapeutic relationship formed between therapist and client. Therapy has the potential to contain, confront, reveal, and even heal old wounds in our souls. Relationships in our lives are not only a means of daily existence but also a space for growth and healing. Therapy based on trust and understanding focuses on creating a safe environment where clients can openly process trauma and conflicts. This allows for relief and strengthens the client’s ability to face life’s challenges.
